Recruitment and immigration for employers and job seekers.
GRIA is now part of Hire Australia.
Last updated 29 October 2026
GRIA has merged with Hire Australia. Hire Australia now handles recruitment, registration and enquiries. Australian Immigration Agency (AIA) is our immigration partner.
Advice from registered migration agents
Australian Immigration Agency (AIA) supports employers, skilled migrants and families with immigration advice. Hire Australia handles the recruitment side following the GRIA merger.
AIA brings more than 15 years of migration experience. Its registered migration agents are members of the Migration Institute of Australia (MIA).
Where AIA can help
Employer sponsorship
Discuss sponsor eligibility, nomination requirements, documentation and the visa pathway for a proposed hire.
Skilled workers
Check the visa options for your qualifications, experience, occupation and current circumstances.
Families
Ask about partner, parent or child visa options and any family members included in a proposed application.
Ongoing visa questions
Get advice about visa conditions, changes to a sponsored role, renewals and possible future pathways.
Understand the advice and the scope
Your migration agent needs the details of your case to give useful advice. Share your visa history, work and family circumstances, and any correspondence from Home Affairs.
Migration fees are quoted case by case by AIA, in writing. Government fees are charged separately by the Australian Government.
Questions to ask AIA
- Which pathways are relevant to my circumstances?
- What evidence will be needed?
- Which services are included in the written quote?
- What government charges are separate?
- What conditions or ongoing responsibilities should I understand?
Working with AIA
General information is a starting point. AIA can check the requirements for your circumstances.
Is AIA the recruitment contact?
Hire Australia handles registration, enquiries and recruitment. AIA is the immigration partner and provides migration advice.
Does an agent guarantee a visa outcome?
No. Home Affairs decides visa applications. AIA can advise on eligibility, evidence and the application process. In Australia, only registered migration agents and legal practitioners can lawfully charge for immigration assistance.
How do I start?
Contact AIA for a current eligibility check and a written quote. For recruitment, use the Hire Australia enquiry link below. Our visa and legal FAQs answer common questions first.
