GRIA has merged with Hire Australia. Hire Australia now handles recruitment, registration and enquiries. Australian Immigration Agency (AIA) is our immigration partner.

For employers

Immigration built into recruitment, not bolted on

When you hire someone who needs a visa, the last thing you want is uncertainty. That's why immigration is part of our recruitment from the first conversation, not an afterthought once you've chosen a candidate.

Our recruiters and our immigration service, Australian Immigration Agency (AIA), work as one team, so visa questions are answered before they can slow your hire down.

Why it matters

One team instead of a hand-off

The usual way

  • A recruiter finds a candidate.
  • A migration agent is brought in later.
  • Visa problems surface after you've chosen someone.
  • Time is lost and compliance risk goes up.

How we do it

  • Visa needs are considered when we plan and advertise the role.
  • After a job match, AIA checks the candidate’s visa eligibility.
  • Your recruiter and AIA's migration agents work the hire together.
  • AIA manages the visa from nomination to decision.
Compliance

Sponsorship is a regulated responsibility

One misstep can put your sponsorship approval, your reputation and your hiring plans at risk. AIA's agents keep your obligations on track and your records ready for the Department of Home Affairs. See compliance and visa management for the areas to keep under review.

Visa costs depend on the visa and the candidate, so AIA gives you a written quote for each case. Government fees are charged separately by the Australian Government.

We help you avoid

  • missed labour market testing
  • choosing the wrong visa subclass
  • incomplete or outdated documents
  • missed notifications to the Department of Home Affairs
  • failed audits caused by poor record-keeping
